Join us online on Monday, November 30, 2026, for a training by DC Special Education Hub team representative!

This session is designed to help families learn how to communicate and collaborate with school staff and advocate for their child's needs, particularly within the context of special education, while keeping the best interests of students at the center! Whether you're new to special education or want to improve your ability to speak up for your child, this training will give you helpful tips and tools. Join us to learn, connect with other families, and feel more confident about supporting your child in school!

Gain practical strategies for:

  • how to understand your child's Individualized Education Program (IEP),
  • how to share questions, concerns, and complaints with your child's IEP team,
  • and how to work with the school team to best support and understand your student's needs!
